Nomad Eco organized a Public Hearing in Karaganda Region

On April 9, 2018, public hearings were held in Kazakhstan Business Center of Karaganda city in the form of open meetings on the project "Environmental Impact Assessment" to the local Building Stone Mining Project at Almaly Area in Karaganda region. The project owner is Sary-Arka Copper Processing LLP.

During the meeting, the representatives of state agencies showed interest in the matters of industrial and solid waste disposal when conducting the works, water consumption and disposal processes, etc. The Project representatives of Sary-Arka Copper Processing LLP together with Nomad Eco gave full and complete replies to all questions of interest.

As a result, the minutes of a hearing were drawn up, signed and submitted to the State Department for Natural Resources and Environmental Management of Karaganda Region.

Besides the organizers of the public hearings, the meeting was attended by the representatives of the authorized state bodies, including the Head of Division for Sanitary and Hygienic Supervision of Industrial and Communal Facilities of the State Department of Public Health of Karaganda Region Aigul Iskakova; Deputy Akim of Shet District Maksat Zhumkin; Chief Specialist of the State Department of Ecology Gulsim Musabekova and others.
