LLP "Zhenis Operating". The Company is an operator (acting on behalf of, at the expense of and on behalf of the subsoil user of JSC National Company KazMunayGas and LUKOIL Kazakhstan Upstream LLP) for the exploration and production of hydrocarbons at the Zhenis field located in the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea.

TASK
Conducting industrial environmental monitoring of the environment when performing engineering-geological surveys (IGI) and engineering-hydrometeorological surveys (IGMI) at the Zhenis field in the middle part of the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea.

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Industrial environmental monitoring was carried out according to the rules, the program of industrial environmental monitoring at the engineering and geological surveys before the construction of the V-1 search well and included: monitoring of atmospheric air and meteorological parameters, studies of bottom sediments, physico-chemical studies of seawater, hydrobiological studies, microbiological studies, ichthyological studies, ornithological studies, observation of seals;
  • Monitoring during the engineering and geological surveys at the Zhenis field was carried out in three series: before, during and after the engineering and geological surveys;
  • Samples of environmental components were taken in the Caspian Sea; laboratory analyses were carried out;
  • Based on the results of the work, a field research report was developed.
